New York – The good season is saluted with a series of wonderful Firriato showcases in the U.S.! In New York City, on Friday, March 16, Firriato will be the focus of the wine masterclass of journalist and wine authority Anthony Giglio at the prestigious cooking school DeGustibus, which registered a sold out in just 2 weeks. A few days later, starting on Monday March 19, Firriato will also be featured in two major Eataly stores, Los Angeles and New York Flatiron, as wine-by-the-glass star in the most famous Italian showcase oversees. The promotion last one full month and it will feature 8 wines on each coast, masterfully paired in the different specialty restaurants of the foodie mecca.

DeGustibus is a school within the iconic establishment of Macy’s in midtown Manhattan, founded in 1980 by Arlene Sailhac and currently owned by Sal Rizzo. Legendary chefs and rising stars of the international culinary scene have been featured at the school, in a world-class setting conducive to unique learning experiences. To lead Firriato’s Wine Masterclass will be Anthony Giglio, one of the most entertaining wine and spirits authorities, contributor to Food & Wine magazine, and Wine Director for the Centurion Lounge in premium airports by American Express. Enormously popular in New York City, Anthony Giglio has a major pedigree in the media landscape nationwide.

Eataly is a concept marketplace with several units all over the world. There are five locations in the U.S. and they comprise a variety of restaurants, food and beverage counters, bakery, retail items, and a cooking school. They have all become an iconic symbol of Italy abroad and a valuable window for established Italian brands.
