The passion of a young entrepreneur in love with his land gave life to the FIRRIATO brand in the mid-1980's, in the heart of the marvelous scenario of the Trapani countryside, which bears the signs of thousands of years of agricultural and winemaking culture while preserving a vibrant and wild nature. In just a few years Salvatore Di Gaetano and Vinzia Novara, his wife and companion in this marvelous adventure, succeeded in leading the firm to international fame and acknowledgement.

These are the guiding principles for our entire world starting from our land, cultivated with love and skill, through the wine cellar, to distribution and relations with partners and clients. Our goal is to produce great Sicilian wines with an international scope.

Our land is our source of inspiration. Firriato's estates, the source of the fine grapes used to make our wines, cover three different geographical areas of that unique "continent" called Sicily. Each expresses with strength the unique features of extremely diverse yet equally extraordinary lands: the Trapani countryside, Mount Etna and Favignana. A journey through all the different shades of Sicily's nature, made of energy, charm, colors, traditions and tastes.
